The Gospel of sin removal is nice, but it can’t hold a candle to the Gospel of heavenly compatible intimacy with God and each other! The real thing is not about self-consciousness. It is about other-consciousness – the meekness of Jesus, not the meekness of Moses. Where relationship is concerned, it is not about wounded co-dependency – it’s about healed ecstasy!

Mary did indeed choose the better part. :-)
